I have to agree, i mean people buy songs on itunes like he syas for $1 a pop and all you can do is listen to them, these songs are ~$2 and you can interact with them... how is that a bad deal? oh and to the people that say well it would cost ~$100 to buy all the songs from GH1... um some of those songs are already in GH2 and GH2 on the 360 has like 10 extra songs over the ps2 version already... so yeah.
by the way I dont even play this game, I do own it though... for one reason...
the "details" in R:FoM were crap, anything up close looks like poo. CoD3 looked just as good and about as long and this fit just fine on a DVD. but you go on being a lemming if thats what works for you.
how many games have YOU made for the ps3... let me guess 0... go find a hole and stay in it. blu-ray has only one purpose in the ps3 and that is to gain a foothold in the next media format war at the expense of gamers.

oh and the 360 is getting VF5... and just about every other third party game... and motorstorm well.. its short, and will be out done by dirt im sure. dont even get me going about R:FoM... ha, you keep playing that average game and tell yourself its better than the FPS's out on the 360.
i think you and other sony fanyboys are counting your chickens a little too soon. people arent waiting for games they are waiting for the price. the wii isnt sell so well becuase of the number of AAA games it has its selling because its a next-gen (i use that term VERY loosly there) that is less than $300, its really only $200 if you take into consideration its is bundled with a $50 game.

the downloadable content says right in the article that it is only for hte 360.

even IF halo shipped on more than one disk, i would rather get up once every 8-10 hours of game play and swap a disk than pay an extra $200 so sony can further their DRM riddled blu-ray agenda.
i bet you $600 that Halo 3 on 1 DVD will be longer and have more replay value and look better than Resistance: Fall of man, which "needed" blu-ray. you people will buy anything a big corporation tells you wont you?
i cant belive you people still think blu-ray matters at ALL for games, the ONLY reason blu-ray is in the ps3 is so that they can win the format war. end of story. IF more space is needed all you have to do is put the game on another disk, past gens and the PC (which is leaps and bounds ahead of any standalone game system) have been doing this for years and years and still are... and as a side note, it would be cheaper to manufacture a game using 3-5 DVD's than it would to manufacture one usin...

sony should focus on thier games before they focus on anything else or they wont have any one PLAYING thier systems. if they dont the PS3 will turn into the PSP, overpriced and not good for anything other than watching a movie or two with nore real games to speak of.
IPTV is about as early as Blu-ray or HD-DVD the only thing is by the time people are ready for HD-DVD or Blu-ray it will already be a thing of the past. it will be like when music went from tape->cd->dvd BUT instead of 5.1 music it went to Digital distibution. same thing will happen here. ipods and mp3 players werent an over night thing you know...
this comes from a troll with 1 bubble... you do know that both wifi, and blu-ray do nothing to improve the number of GAMES out there to play on the ps3 right now? you do know that sony on has only 2 3rd party exclusives worth a sh!t, MGS and FF, and they are looking more and more like they will be coming the 360 way... so while sony pissed thier 1 year lead away trying to FORCE Blu-Ray on thier fans M$ went out and took damn near every single exclusive they had. now what would you rather have...
also keep in mind this is coming from a team know for being the best when it comes to getting every little bit out of a system, yes they didnt have thier leader working with them on this one, as he has stated many times he prefers the 360 but, just cuz these guys can do something great doesnt mean that everyone can. these guys are elite.

i will only be getting the HDD as all my current 360 stuff (pioneer speaker desigend to match the 360, HD-DVD addon, 4 controllers, battery charging station, wifi adapter... EVERYTHING is white, not black, and no need for HDMI as my TV doesnt have it. would be nice to get the 65nm chips but ehh.
and as a side note i dont know why all the sony trolls keep saying M$ screwed us... it ben over a year since the x360 launced and they are changing what that the customer would notice? ...
